As we approach winter in the northern hemisphere, scenes like this should be common. Instead, the nightly news talks about fires in California, and how the firefighters will be on the job until Christmas, and now perhaps until New Year’s Day. Here’s hoping for rain and snow soon for our neighbors in California.

Yes, we sure hope that things get better in California! We humans need to do much more to prevent global warming!

Very true, Tom. It will not happen if we wait for governments to recognize and respond to the matter. All of us need to make changes in our daily routines to reduce our carbon footprint. Unfortunately, there are still many non-believers, or those too apathetic to understand the consequences.
